Native Importing and Playback of P2 (DVCProHD/DV50/DV25), XDCAM DV25 and select OP1a DV-based MXF Files within Final Cut Pro and QuickTime . Finally you can enjoy the freedom of native editing in Final Cut Pro without the need for Logging and Encoding, or creating QuickTime Reference Movies for your MXF Files.
Calibrated Software's unique solution successfully joins the separate video and audio P2 MXF files so that Final Cut Pro sees them all as ONE file - complete with TimeCode and Reel Name. You may also use PullDown to easily select frame rates.
System requirements
- To mount P2 cards, you must install the proper firmware/drivers from Panasonic.
- Direct import of MXF Files only for these Final Cut Studio 2 applications: Final Cut Pro, Compressor, Motion, Sound Track Pro, and Shake.
- RealTime Playback in Final Cut Pro is dependent upon system and speed of corresponding QuickTime Codec.
- Calibrated{Q} DVCProHD Decode or Apple DVCProHD Codec required to decompress DVCProHD video.
- Panasonic AVC-Intra Codec required to decompress AVC-Intra video.
- Apple DV50 Codec required to decompress DV50 video.
- Calibrated{Q} IMX Decode or Apple IMX Codec required to decompress IMX video.
- Calibrated{Q} XD Decode or Apple HDV Codec required to decompress XDCAM video.
- DV25 Codec is native in QuickTime
Limitations in the unregistered version
- Only up to 30 seconds of the media will be shown or half the media if media is already less than 30 seconds.

- IMPORTANT: The Default for the ReelName has been switched to the Clip UUID. Previously the default ReelName was the Parent folder. (See the User Guide for more details) The ReelName can be switched back to using the Parent folder in the Options application.
