Archos Plug-in for iTunes 6 will allow you to create playlists from Apple's iTunes application for all Archos MP3 players.
With this plug-in installed, iTunes will see the ARCHOS device as a valid music device and display the songs (MP3 format) and playlists (.m3u files) that it finds on the ARCHOS device.
iTunes can transfer a set of songs (iTunes playlist -- manually created, not automatically created) or individual songs (iTunes library items) to the ARCHOS device simply by dragging the playlist or library song onto the ARCHOS device.
If you create a playlist of songs in iTunes to put onto your ARCHOS device, it must be a manually created playlist, not an automatically created playlist.
