Ambify is a powerful and user-friendly Mac OS X application that uses your your Philips Hue bulbs, LED strips and lamps in order to turn your music into light.

Ambify has a clean and simple interface from which you can quickly and easily enable or disable the FX, select the audio input source and control your lamps. Ambify also features a powerful audio processor capable to capture audio from any application on your Mac.

In addition, Ambify comes with AirPlay receiving capabilities, fact that allows you to receive AirPlay audio from various iOS devices, Macs and even PCs with Airfoil installed. Thanks to Ambify’s AirPlay output feature you can receive audio from your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and output it to an AppleTV or output audio from your Mac to an AirPort Express.

Ambify provides support for cover-art and metadata, and can be controlled using the Apple remote for AppleTV. What is more, Ambify uses advanced algorithms in order to visualize the played music in real-time. You can even access the FX panel and adjust the Sensitivity, Variation and Maximum Brightness with just a couple of mouse clicks.

Ambify uses Philips Hue connected bulbs, lamps and lightstrips, to which you can easily connect using your Hue bridge. You can setup your lighting system using a Philips Hue starter-kit or advanced setup. Ambify also offers support for Living Colors and Living Whites and allows you to control multiple lamps at the same time.

Thanks to Ambify’s Classic Visualizer you can enjoy your music along with the generated visual effects directly on your Mac’s screen or on your AppleTV.

If you own one or multiple Philips Hue bulbs and you want to turn your room into a realtime music visualizer using your Mac, then Ambify is the application you need.
