Easy to use cross-platform app that can be used for interpreting the sound files recorded with the Mark IIa Radiosonde used by the National Weather Service
Sonde is a handy and streamlined utility for those who need to decode the transmissions sent be the radio locators used by the National Weather Service.

Sonde can receive the data from the microphone or load the 48000 Hz, 16 bit WAV files.

In order to use the Sonde application you need to enter the geographical coordinates from your location and the maximum range used for rejecting the packets that are corrupted in order to avoid false readings.
