  • Control mode:
  • main PITCH/ROLL/YAW PID modification (r1474):
  • the sticks scaling is no more affected by PID coefficients
  • yaw rate (to the right of the PIDs in GUI) now works as stick scaling

MultiWii
MultiWii is a complex piece of software for controlling multirotor RC model. Currently, it can use various sensors but was initially developed to support Nintendo Wii console gyroscopes and accelerometers.

These sensors can be found in the extensions of the Nintendo WiiMote: Wii Motion Plus and Wii Nunchuk.

MultiWii is for the moment able to control  a tricopter, a quadricopter or a hexacopter. The tricopter mentioned in this article is mainly is the first tricopter I made, based on a fiber structure.

The structure was reinforced with carbon/kevlar fiber. Some LEDs were also added for a better flying visibility.

MultiWii is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
