Equation composerIf you are familiar with the LaTeX language, than you will be able to quickly and easily compose various equations in seconds rather than minutes. In other words, you no longer have to create a TEX file with its preamble, compile it, crop the results, insert it in your document, backup the used files and go trough all mentioned steps to modify the equation.
Thanks to LaTeXiT, you can focus on your equation and use the cropped result in the desired application or document. On top of that, you can open, edit and modify your equation with ease.
Syntax highlighterThe process of writing and editing the equation is simplified due to the use of a handy syntax coloring feature, built-in dictionary and a smart error manager based on log analysis of the underlying LaTeX engine.
Moreover, you can record custom keyboard shortcuts and document templates in order to personalize your workspace and improve your productivity.
Handy PalettesProficient and novice users will be happy to know that LaTeXiT comes with numerous standard palettes, to which you can add your own and distribute them as plugins. On top of that, the History feature helps you access previously saved equations. You can even create and use your own libraries of equations.
Export capabilitiesBy default, all generated equations are saved in PDF documents, that can be easily converted into image files. A the same time, LaTeXiT helps you export your equations to MathML, SVG, PDF vector, EPS, SVG, TIFF, PNG and JPEG files.
What is more, you can configure LaTeXiT to detect and convert equations from third-party applications. Moreover, you can use the Automator to batch convert multiple equations quicker and easier.
