JDet is a free, open-source Java-bases application for the interactive calculation and visualization of function-related conservation patterns in multiple sequence alignments and structures.
JDet comes with a set of tools and features which are very important for the daily work with this kind of data, and that previously were disseminated in different packages and web servers.
JDet is a cross-platform utility capable of running on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
