What's New in This Release:
  • Fixed a major glitch where under Oracle's Java SE 1.7 runtime, the view coords window preview would fail to render (appearing black) until the fractal was changed. This is due to some changes in the AWT/Swing container layout algorithm between 1.6 and 1.7; the latter sometimes causes components to be resized slightly in certain cases, but these resizes were unanticipated and were not being dealt with properly. Thanks to Jake Carter for bringing this to my attention.
  • Also made the default window positioning of the parameter toolbar and the view coords window more intelligent and useful, rather then relying on the host windowing system to place it for us.
  • In the save screenshot dialog, if you type a filename lacking a ".png" extension, one will now be appended.
