TS Calc is a great application entirely written in Cocoa and Objective-C dedicated to mathematical calculation for technical fields.
TS Calc is a document based application and its document can be realized and used as calculation models for a specific mathematical technical problems reusable over time.
These documents can also be distributed as pre made solutions for various type of technical problems with all the requested equations inside and all the variables preinserted with acceptable range already set.
A TS Calc document contains a series of equations and a list of variables and constants used by the equations. The user can insert different input and see the output generated by the TS Calc document using the equations solving the problem.
TS Calc includes a calculation engine entirely developed and coded internally by Tension Software in C and Objective-C, able to solve equations with any nested level of parenthesis, variables and a large type of mathematical functions at an impressive speed, almost Instantaneously on modern Mac

In details TS Calc uses documents window with 4 different views:
· Calc View
· Equations View
· Variables View
· Constants View
"Calc View" is used to insert input and see resulting output in a view, when in this view the lateral panel drawer can show a custom description of the calculation document, with RTF text and pictures to help the user understand how to use the document and the calculation model in it
"Equations View" is where are located (and created in the building phase of the document) the equation used to solve the mathematical model.
The equations are constructed using variables, constants and functions from a list of available inside TS Calc.
The application provides facilities to insert, manipulate, refine and fix these equations during creation of the calculation model of the software.
The lateral drawer in this view show the variables and constant used in the selected equation
In case new variable are inserted in the equations, a utility feature allow to insert these variables in an automated way in the "Variables view".
"Variables View" show all the variable inside the document and the lateral drawer shows for any variable where it is used
Constants View show all the constants inside the document and the lateral drawer shows for any constants where it is used
