Bacfier is a free, open-source and cross-platform desktop application that enables you to classify bacterial pathogenesis.
Bacfier will display the the prediction (pathogen / non-pathogen), an associated probability for pathogenicity, and the the presence or absence vector for the analyzed genes.
You will be able to upload a genome and the tool will display its classification (pathogen / non-pathogen) with the genes responsible for its pathogenic classification.
Being developed using Java, Bacfier is a cross-platform tool which can be used on any operating system that comes with Java support (e.g. Mac OS X, Windows, Linux).
