MediaGet is a handy and intuitive Mac OS X application that enables you search the web for the desired multimedia file, download it to your Mac’s hard disk and play it with the built-in media player.

Browse the web for torrents and download them with ease

MediaGet comes with a user-oriented interface that makes it east to search and find TV shows, movies, apps, games and all sort of files that you can add to the download queue. You just have to type the name of the item you are looking for and let MediaGet do the hard work for you.

Thanks to the advanced search engine, you can filter the displayed items based on their type, keyword or file size. At the same time, the built-in Catalog helps you discover new and old movies, music and games with just a couple of mouse clicks.

Limit the download and upload speed

By accessing the Transfer tab, you can view all the torrents added for download and take control over the selected items. The top toolbar helps you add or create torrents, start, pause or remove a download and hide or display detailed information about your downloads.

Hence, you can check the download status and transfer rate, limit the download or upload speed, recheck the downloaded data and view the location of the torrent on your hard disk. The great thing about MediaGet is that you can start watching certain videos even before they are downloaded thanks to the torrent streaming feature and the built-in media player.

Play multimedia files and organize your playlist

By accessing the Mediaplayer, you can play the downloaded or streamed torrents, adjust the sound volume and organize your playlist by adding or removing files. You also have the option to hide the side bar and enable the fullscreen mode in order to enjoy the movie or TV show without distractions.

It is worth mentioning that downloading and/or viewing copyrighted material via torrent websites might be illegal in your country and that you should check the content of the torrents before proceeding.
