iPic is an image uploader that helps you work with multiple online hosting services and can generate links to the respective images using the Markdown format.
The iPic utility sports multiple upload methods, integrates seamlessly into your system, and works well with other applications.
The iPic application resides in your status bar which means that you can quickly interact with its interface even though it does not take too much desktop space. The app will keep track of all completed or pending uploads, and displays a complete list in the status bar menulet.
To facilitate the keyboard interaction, iPic assigns a letter to each completed upload and a number to the pending ones. This way, you can easily start an upload or copy the link to an image by simply pressing a key.
Last but not least, you get to decide if you want the links to use the Markdown format or not: iPic will modify them automatically based on your selection.
Within the iPic Preferences, you get to configure all the image hosting services you want to work with. iPic provides support for connecting to Imgur, Flickr, Amazon S3, Qiniu, UpYun, and Ali OSS.
At the same time, iPic integrates with the OS X services, so you can send files to the uploader by using the contextual menu. Naturally, you can also perform the same action by using a hotkey that can be changed via the System Preferences.
Note that you can send images to iPic directly from other applications, by using the Copy option in the contextual menu.
To sum up, iPic is a small yet efficient application that enables you to effortlessly send image files to various online hosting services. You can perform the task by using drag and drop actions, or by using hotkeys.
For your convenience, iPic can also put the link to the image files on your clipboard in Markdown format.
