The goo.gl lite extension provides you a handy method for using the Google's URL shortener.
After installation, right-click your Firefox toolbar, click Customize, and drag the Goo.gl button into the toolbar. Clicking it will make a goo.gl URL and copy it to your clipboard.
Note: The goo.gl lite add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.

· This is using the new API again, since the old API is deprecated and failing intermittently with "Invalid CAPTCHA".
· This version does not yet support adding to your personal history. However, I am working on supporting this using OAuth authentication.
