With everygain Translator you get a useful tool for translating phrases in a variety of languages.
The main advantage in comparison to other online translation tools (like the Google Toolbar) is that you do not have to translate the whole page and you can select the part of the text you want to get translated.
For the translations the everygain Translation extension is using Google's translation API. If you want to translate any text on any page you just have to select the text with your mouse and click on the icon of everygain Translator in the statusbar of your browser.
After a click on the icon you get directly the translation of the selected text. You can also activate the translation via the context menu. Simply mark the text to be translated, click the right mouse button and select the right choice.
everygain Translator is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
