Zoommy For Mac

Finding free stock photos that you can use for demonstrative projects can prove to be challenging at times. Zoommy is a small but efficient OS X app that helps you browse multiple online resources and download the images that you like.

The Zoommy user interface is represented by a single window where you can view the list of supported online resources and thumbnails for all the included images. Note that Zoommy also allows you to flag certain images, which means that you can easily compare two images, or keep the ones you like close at hand.

Zoommy integrates content from a large number of websites that provide free stock photographs, such as Unsplash, Jay Mantri, Boss Fight, Startup Stock Photos, and so on. The application keeps the pictures organized by source in case you have favorites.

Within the Zoommy main window, you get to open each image and view a larger version. In the bottom area of the viewer panel you can choose to open the picture in your default browser, to flag/unflag the photo, or to download it to your Mac.

Even through Zoommy does not ask for any type of confirmation, once you press the Download button the images will be sent to your default Downloads directory.

Wait for a reasonable amount of time before checking if the image file has been saved to your disk: unfortunately, Zoommy does not provide completion notifications either.

Working with the Zoommy application proves to be both fast and painless: the commands are highly intuitive, and most users can find their way around in no time without any help.
