Add Post-It to your mails, perfect for when you have to remember something related to an email. It adds a menu to your right-mouse button when you select an email and let's you add a button to your toolbar. It shows you when the note was added/modified and comes up in an extra column in Thunderbird.

The Xnote Plus extension that adds a date to notes, and an extra column showing whether emails have notes attached or not.
