UnMHT is a practical and very simple to use Firefox, SeaMonkey and Thunderbird add-on that enables you to view MHTML files and even save entire webpages into a single MHT file.
MHTML (short for MIME HTML) is a web page archive format designed to combine resources that are usually represented by external links with the HTML code into an easy to transfer file. The content of an MHTML file is encoded as an HTML e-mail message using the MIME type multipart/related.
By accessing your browser’s Tools menu, you can access the UnMHT sub menu and save the currently opened page or tabs as MHTML files to your Mac's hard drive for further viewing.
UnMHT also makes it quite simple for you to share your newly created MHTML file via email and open any page as a MHTML file.
What is more, you can insert the URL of the webpage and date into the MHTML file, convert HTML files from a given folder to MHTML files. Moreover, you can save multiple tabs as separate MHTML files or as a single MHTML files.
You can use UnMHT to view MHTML files generated by various third-party applications such as Microsoft PowerPoint and others. By accessing the Preferences window you can configure UnMHT to automatically add saved pages to Download History and display or hide the progress bar.
On top of that, UnMHT is capable to share your newly created MHTML files using Apple’s Email, Thunderbird or SeaMonkey. You can even assign different keyboard shortcuts to save a page as MHT, save multiple tabs as MHT files, quick save and overwrite an MHT file.
