TwentyTwo for Mac
TwentyTwo is a well-designed, unobtrusive and handy Mac OS X application specially made for users that love to discover music on the popular music discovery service 22tracks.com
Discover new music, new artists and music genres
22tracks.com is maintained by the local top DJs from Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris and London and aims to be a guide in the overcrowded musical field. 22tracks.com provides 22 playlists of different genres and each playlist is populated with 22 tracks, hand picked by specialized DJs from different cities around Europe.
Consequently, you can discover the latest tendencies in music, find new artists and even new music genres as you work, play or workout. On top of that, you can buy the songs you like via iTunes, 7Digital or Beatport.
Forget about multiple tabs and web browsing, just enjoy the music
Thanks to TwentyTwo, you can now enjoy all that and even more without using a web browser, you can control the web-based player and jump from one song to the next directly from within TwentyTwo by using the Apple media keys.
You have access to all the features and sharing options as if you were visiting the page via your favorite browser, but you don’t have to waste time find the right tab to change the song or share it via Facebook or Twitter.
Use the media keys to control the player with ease
The integration with the media keys is probably the biggest advantage that TwentyTwo offers over the web browser. As expected, you can view detailed information about the artist of the currently played song and open the web store that allows you to purchase the track.
The File menu helps you open the desired 22tracks list by simply providing the URL address in the drop-down sheet. Unfortunately, we did not manage to make TwentyTwo open the desired track list, but we hope that this issues will be address in future updates.
