Adjustable window sizeTubeG lives in your Mac’s status bar from where you can access its menu and paste the link of the video you want to view. The great thing about TubeG is that it allows you to easily paste or drop multiple links and watch them in different windows.
Web browser extensionWhat is more, TubeG helps you add videos from your Internet browser with just a mouse click thanks to the provided browser extensions. Unfortunately, TubeG offers extensions for Apple’s Safari and Google Chrome. However, since TubeG is still at the beginning of its life, it is expected that more browsers will be supported in the future.
It is worth mentioning that you have to manually download the Safari or Chrome extension from TubeG’s extensions page.
Intuitive interfaceOnce the clip is loaded you can play or pause it, skim through it, track the elapsed and remaining time, and adjust the sound volume. By right clicking within the resizable window, you'll gain access to a comprehensive menu that allows you to quickly mute the video, keep the video window on top of all other applications, enable the shadow and adjust the transparency of the window.
On top of that, you can effortlessly change the quality of the video and even enjoy HD videos. In addition, you can enable the full screen mode and open the video in your web browser.
By accessing the Preferences window, you can configure TubeG to automatically start at login, allow it to play videos once loaded, set the default video quality, adjust the window dimensions and set the default window position.
