SortRecipients is a lightweight Thunderbird add-on that enables you to alphabetically sort the recipients lists (To/Cc) when composing a message, simply by clicking the Sort button, which will be added to the Compose window toolbar.

Sorting recipients in your Compose window made easy. SortRecipients tries to sort the recipients of your mail being edited in a simplistic yet robust manner, no matter if an entry includes a full name/nickname or only the plain email address.

You can sort by name left-to-right or by mail address. SortRecipients might be useful in corporate environments or at home (think of invitations).

SortRecipients is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
