Event extract is a Thunderbird add-on for the Lightning extension which extracts event/task information from email when converting to event or task.
The context menu items are in English on purpose.
Supported locales for date and time detection include en-US, et, sv-SE, fr, de, zh-TW, es-ES, sl, eo-EO, eo-XX, hu, ru, it, gd, ja and ca.
Event extract is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X and Windows.
Requirements:
· Thunderbird 17 and later or
· SeaMonkey 2.14 and later
· Lightning

· You can now add buttons for extracting event or task to toolbar.
· Also if you select part(s) of the email then only subject and selected content is used for extraction. This is useful when you want to extract an event from email that contains more than one or if some parts of the email confuse extraction and you want to avoid using them.
