Envelope-Content Splitting is a Thunderbird add-on that provides support for Envelope-Content Splitting (ECS) to provide a number of benefits to the user.
Envelope-Content Splitting:
· Prevents e-mail providers, such as Google, from reading their mail
· Prevents "spoofing" of e-mail addresses
Ever wished you could prevent Google and other mail providers from reading your mail? How about changing that e-mail you sent a while ago?
Envelope-Content Splitting (ECS) is the tool you need. ECS technology brings e-mail to the 21st century by enabling you, the user, to take complete control of your mail. Check out http://www.chiaramail.com for details.
Envelope-Content Splitting is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
NOTE: The ECS extension requires the use of a content server Web application. Therefore, in order to run the extension, you must register with the server at https://www.chiaramail.com/index.jsp.
Registration is free and provides you with 10 MB of server disk space for your ECS-enabled messages. If you have problems registering, please e-mail ChiaraMail Extension Support via the Contact page.
