The Spotdox application resides either in your status bar or in the Dock, and does not require your attention in any way: simple make sure the utility is launched at login, and you will not have to interact with it during the day. Note that on the first launch, Spotdox automatically copies itself to the user’s Applications directory.
Of course, for you to be able to use Spotdox, the Dropbox application must be installed on your Mac beforehand. Moreover, you must login to your Dropbox account and authorize the Spotdox application: later on, you can easily uninstall the app via the Dropbox account Settings panel.

Once everything is in place, you can easily preview any document stored on a connected computer by using the Spotdox web console, or the iOS or Android companion applications.
