Song Buddy For Mac

Song Buddy is a simple, user-friendly and handy Mac OS X application that can help you learn more about various artists and even discover new ones based on your likes.

Song Buddy is designed to automatically detect the artist or music band you are currently listening to on iTunes and display their profile along with the photo gallery.

What is more, you can listen to samples from different albums, view all their releases and check the upcoming events and concerts.

From Song Buddy’s status bar menu you can manually search for a musician or band, access the official home page, YouTube channel, Facebook and Twitter page.

The built-in search form helps you to quickly and easily find the desired artist while the bottom toolbar allows you to play or pause iTunes.

By accessing the Releases tab you can view a list with all released albums, EPs and LPs, listen to samples and purchase albums via the iTunes Store. If you want to view upcoming concerts and events you can access the Events tab and check the provided list.

Song Buddy is capable to make artist suggestions based on the music that you are listening to. Hence, Song Buddy can help you discover your next favorite artist. Song Buddy comes with a library of over 35 million songs that cover all existing music genre.

It would have been more useful if Song Buddy allowed its users to add one or more events to their Calendar directly from within the app. On top of that, we would have liked Song Buddy even more if there was a sharing feature that can help you share your discovery with your friends via Facebook or Twitter.
