ServeToMe For Mac

The ServeToMe app represents the server part of the zqueue music streaming system: the app creates a media streaming server, and you can use the StreamToMe iOS or macOS utilities to watch or listen to the streamed videos and music.

Note that both macOS apps are available free of charge, but if you want to access the ServeToMe media server from an iOS device, the companion app is available only as a commercial product.

Upon launch, ServeToMe automatically launches a media server and places an unobtrusive status bar menu to help you stop and manage the server. Within the ServeToMe main window you can see the server status, local and external address, and the recent streams.

The same area allows you to adjust the server’s video quality, to setup an access password, to assign a specific port, to integrate the iTunes and iPhoto libraries, and to view and add shared folders.

Via the Advanced Settings panel, you can easily toggle the UPnP/NAT-PMP port mapping function, disable the external verification, the font cache, or the file metadata. Moreover, you can change the network adapter address and the custom temporary directory.
