This extension shows the display name of the sender in the message list pane if the sender's address (From address) is in the address books.
Showing the display names improves the visibility of the message list since the sender's names are displayed in a unified format even if the From field is written in various formats. Also it may prevent phishing attacks by distinguishing unknown senders from known ones.
In the future, this extension will support showing any address book attributes, such as the company, job title, and phone numbers.
The Sender Name extension allows you to see the sender's display name in the message list pane.
The Sender Name add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
