SafariStand For Mac

SafariStand is a powerful and easy-to-use plugin designed to enhance your Safari experience by adding a sidebar where you can see you favorite websites, a search tool that can query your bookmarks and history logs, and additional navigation tools.

To start using SafariStand you must first download and then install EasySIMBL by dragging into your Mac’s Application folder. The next step is to launch EasySIMB,  check the “Use SIMBL” box, and drag and drop the SafariStand bundle onto its window.

The last step is to restart Safari and the installation process will be completed: SafariStand will integrate itself seamlessly into your Safari top menu bar.

SafariStand brings to the table a lot of efficient tools, and one of them is the Sidebar that enables you to visualize the currently opened tabs in a vertical list: you can switch between them with a simple mouse click.

Another noteworthy feature is the “Stand Search” that enables you to effortlessly search in your history log and bookmark list: once you have found the specific web site, double click the result and it will quickly open in a new tab.

SafariStand comes with yet another quite useful capability that enables users to switch between tabs with the mouse wheel or by simply using the “.” and “,” characters: to enable the options above, you must go to SafariStand’s Settings, select the General tab and check the boxes in front of “Switch Tab With Wheel” and “Switch Tab With ",.”.

Taking all things into consideration, SafariStand is a very useful Safari plugin to have around designed to provide you with enhanced control over Safari’s features.
