RockMelt is a straightforward web browser that helps you navigate the web and stay in touch with your Facebook friends and Twitter followers at the same time.

RockMelt features a simple and intuitive interface that enables you to quickly visit multiple webpages, share them with your friends and chat with them with ease. At the same time you can tweet about your favorite webpage and check your Facebook feed.

Thanks to the built-in search form, you can find a specific Facebook post or Twitter feed with just a few keystrokes. Unfortunately, RockMelt has been discontinued and all social features are no longer functions.

However, you can use RockMelt as a regular web browser and share your thoughts, ideas and pages using the conventional ways. At the same time, the unavailability of the features that made RockMelt special, render the app pretty much useless.

On the bright side, RockMelt’s View menu helps you enable the Presentation Mode or enter in the Full Screen mode. Consequently, you can focus on your webpage and avoid other distractions. You can also change the encoding of the page, view the source code of the loaded page, open the JavaScript Console and the panel with the developer tools.

As expected, you cannot personalize RockMelt with themes or install extensions since RockMelt is no longer supported. On the other hand, you can bookmark your favorite webpages and mange the pages you visit most frequently.

By accessing the View menu, you can open the Downloads window and open the built-in Task Manager. The Task Manager helps you view the pages that require the most RAM, CPU and network resources, as well as kill a process or close a page with just a click of a mouse button.
