Reeder For Mac

Reeder is a straightforward macOS client for Feedbin, Feedly, Feed Wrangler, Fever and Readability, that can also be used as a standalone news reader.

After configuring your RSS accounts and setting up your own custom reader, you can easily access your feeds and filter the displayed items based on different criteria. From Reeder’s main window you can easily add a new subscription and mark your favorite items.

What is more, Reeder comes with a handy search form that helps you find the desired article with just a few mouse clicks. Moreover, you can enjoy your articles from within a distraction free environment or open the source page and read them from there.

The View menu helps you show only the Unread, Starred or All your items, switch to the Minimized layout and group the selected articles by date or feed. You can also switch between different accounts, synchronize, hide and add new accounts.

By using the predefined keyboard shortcuts, you can effortlessly sync your accounts, jump to the previous or next subscription. You can star or mark the currently viewed item and open it in your browser or Readability.

Thanks to Reeder’s Services menu, you can easily copy the article link, open it in Firefox, add it to your Reading List or share it via Messages, Mail, Facebook or Twitter. Since Reeder is in public Beta, it is expected that more sharing services and options will be added in future releases.

From the Appearance tab under the Preferences window, you have the option to change the font size, dim archived articles and display the counts for “Starred”, “Unread” and “All items” list. You can also choose between the Reeder, Dark Reeder, Light Reeder, Standard and Dark White theme.
