Quicklie For Mac

Instagram users don’t have the option to save their images locally, or to at least print them. Quicklie is a small OS X application that monitors your Instagram account, and automatically sends to the printer images that have a certain hashtag.

Right off the bat, you must login to your Instagram account via the Quicklie application, and authorize its access to your basic information. All you have to do next is input the hashtag you want to monitor, the printer you want to use, and the document title.

Noteworthy is that Quicklie must be running while the Instagram photo is posted: the utility cannot detect images retroactively. Once an image is sent to the printer, it takes 10 seconds to switch to another hashtag.

At the same time, the image can only be printed, and you cannot save the output PDF locally. However, Quicklie does allow you to add your own logo to the picture, and you can even add custom background images. The app is able to handle PNG, JPEG, and GIF image files.

Quicklie offers you the possibility to collect all the Instagram photos posted by your party guests, or visitors, in an attempt to capture beautiful memories, or to engage the audience and promote your events.

On the whole, the utility is easy to setup, and the working procedure is quite straightforward to explain. Quicklie is capable to detect even images that are posted closely together, and simply adds them to the printer queue.

At the moment, the app does not retain your settings between sessions, so you have to make sure everything is working properly each time you relaunch the app. According to the developers, this function is currently included in the Quicklie Pro version and will be introduced in the demo soon.
