QuickBrowser is a simple and unobtrusive web-browser that can be easily accessed from your Mac’s status bar with just a mouse click.

Thanks to QuickBrowser you can monitor a site of your choice and stay updated with the latest news and changes that take place on your favorite web page. You can track and monitor eBay auctions, check your Facebook page, post tweets or watch live game events on specialized web sites.

You can access the lightweight application from your Mac’s menu bar and type in the address of the web page you want to visit. What is more, QuickBrowser’s main window is resizable and it can also be detached and placed anywhere on the desktop.

The toolbar located on the left side of the window helps you add or remove websites from your favorite list. The “Up” and “Down” arrows enable you to scroll through the list and open the desired page. From the “Navigation” toolbar you can reload the currently viewed page and jump to the next or previous page.

While using the “Large” view mode, you can enable the “Normal Browser” option and surf the web like you would do with any other browser or disable it and take advantage of the mobile versions of the currently loaded page.

During our testing period, the “Normal Browser” feature did not seem to work or have any effect on the loaded website. In spite of this flaw, QuickBrowser offered a smooth and pleasing browsing experience that rivals other similar applications.
