Portable Chromium is a straightforward and open source browser project specially made to create a faster, safer and more stable browsing environment for all users.

Just like the standard version of Chromium, Portable Chromium is a lightweight and smooth-running web browser that makes it easy for your to visit your favorite webpages and open them in multiple tabs.

Moreover, Portable Chromium features a minimalist user interface, support for a large number of opened tabs and a practical Incognito browsing mode. The top toolbar helps you control all your tabs, open new ones, bookmark pages, mark them as favorites and more.

Additional tools and features are available under the “Chromium” drop-down menu from where you can start an Incognito browsing session, zoom in or out, enter the full screen mode, save pages and more.

Just like other web browsers, Portable Chromium allows you to bookmark multiple pages, import bookmarks and settings, as well as manage and organize all your bookmarks. Portable Chromium also comes with a powerful Find feature that helps you find words and text quick and easy.

By accessing the Tools sub-menu, you can open the built-in task manager, clear your browsing data, manage all your extensions, change the page encoding, view the page source code, access the developer tools, summon the JavaScript Console and more.

The Preferences page enables you to set the default hope page, customize the startup behavior and change the toolbar settings. You also have the option to change Portable Chromium’s appearance, change the default search engine, install or remove extensions and view your browsing history.

Thanks to Portable Chromium's Advanced settings panel you can change settings related to your privacy, enable the phishing and malware protection. More demanding users can also setup proxies, change the download location, and manage HTTP and SSL certificates with extreme ease.
