Performance Co-Pilot (PCP) is used to monitor and respond to the status and activity of distributed systems and services, such as Apache, Sendmail, MySQL, clusters, server farms, etc.
PCP metric streams can be viewed graphically in real-time, logged to an archive, or processed by an inference engine for automating operational decisions.
What's New in This Release:
■ These PCP packages for MacOS X, contain porting modifications not found is SGI's original source code release - details are available at http://reliable.sourceforge.net ■ This distribution of PCP 2.5.0 also includes PCPMon 1.3.4, used for graphically monitoring metric streams in real-time.
What's new in Performance Co-Pilot 3.10.4-2:
- pmdalinux: fixed kernel.pernode.cpu.* for systems with only one CPU.
- pmdadm: merged in pmdadmcache, added thin provisioning metrics
- pmcd: fix failure to recover from errors sending client attrs
- pmcd: don't advertise presence if -A specified.
