OutWit Images is a Firefox add-on which allows you to quickly navigate through your favorite web pages and harvest any picture you want.
OutWit Images is one of the few image browsers that allows users to save images directly onto their hard disk.
Furthermore, the add-on allows you to collect images directly from various Web sources with just the simple click of a button. Its sleek, easy-to-use interface displays thumbnails on a black background and allows users to smoothly scroll through the images.
You will also be able to personalize OutWit Images' appearance by selecting different background colors and views for the thumbnails.
With OutWit Images, you can save images to a desired location. The images can be dragged and dropped into the collection basket, the "catch,” where they can be saved directly onto the computer, displayed in a slideshow, or shared with other users.
In addition, OutWit Images provides multiple other options including filters for viewing and saving the images, as well as, visible source information.
OutWit Images is the first extension of its kind specifically designed for the collection of images to be released to the general public, for either professional or personal use.
OutWit Images is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
