Old Default Image Style is a Firefox add-on that restores the default image style used for top-level images in previous versions of Firefox.

Bug 376997 added a stylesheet to top-level images that forces the background to black and centers the image.

Old Default Image Style removes the stylesheet, returning the background to your configured default and removing the centering.

In addition, Old Default Image Style allows you to set a custom background color and for re-centering the image, so if you prefer some combination of the above or a different background color, you can set that too.

Old Default Image Style is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
