NetNewsWire is a smooth-running and easy-to-use macOS application that provides the required tools and features to access the latest news and read your articles from within a distraction free environment.

From NetNewsWire’s main window you can manage and organize your feeds, check your favorite sources, access the bookmarked articles and even share the most interesting news. The top toolbar helps you to quickly add a new site, refresh your list, mark all feeds as read, jump to the next unread news, change the interface styles and place bookmarks.

What is more, the app comes with a built-in Search form that helps you to quickly and effortlessly find an article or filter the displayed feeds. NetNewsWire also allows you to create custom folders into which you can group your feeds for easier management.

By right-clicking on a site you can open the home page, add it to Favorites, copy feed URL, rename or delete it. The View menu helps you arrange sites, sort articles and customize the Toolbar. You can also enable the full screen mode and enjoy your reading without any distractions.

Another useful feature is the tab reading mode. Once you right-clicked on an article you can copy the article link, open in your browser or in a new Tab. All opened tabs are displayed in the right sidebar from where you can easily access them with just a mouse click.

By accessing the Style menu, you can quickly switch between the “day” and “night” view, change the default font and size. Thanks to the Share feature you can email a link, share it via Facebook or Twitter, post it on App.net or save it to Instapaper.
