MailRaider is essentially a viewer that can open Microsoft Outlook email messages on Mac OS X: use the File menu options or drag and drop the files on top of the MailRaider Dock icon to perform this action.
Preview the Outlook email content
The application is able to display the Outlook email message content by using the original formatting, but is also able to convert it to plain text. In addition, you can visualize any included attachments. Moreover, MailRaider can work with multiple files at the same time.
Supports multiple file types
MailRaider is able to open various file types, such as .msg, .eml, .oft, and .dat files. On the other hand, the processed content can be exported to more popular file formats, such as .rtf, .eml, vCard (for contacts), calendar, MBOX, or .xml.
The main area of the MailRaider main window is reserved for displaying the message content. The top toolbar allows you to activate the attachments drawer where you can view all the included documents, but also includes buttons for basic functions: export, print, or enable the inspector window (shows the metadata embedded in your file).
MailRaider also provides basic personalization options: in the Preferences window you can change the font style used for the header or body, or you can decide to view the “Open Dialogue” if no documents are opened.
Simple viewer app for opening Microsoft Outlook messages
MailRaider provides a simple and intuitive solution for quickly viewing email messages that have been sent via the Microsoft Outlook application. This way, if you have switched from Windows to Mac, you can easily gain access to your archived messages.
