MailBar For Mac

MailBar is a practical OS X application created from the ground up to help you check your mail inbox and manage your emails directly from your Mac’s status bar.

Moreover, MailBar is a light and discreet application designed to run in the background and display the number of new emails next to its menu bar icon. Thanks to MailBar, you can monitor and manage up to four different mailboxes at a time.

By accessing the Preferences window, you can easily assign different colors to you mailboxes, enable or disable an inbox and select a different sound notification for each inbox. MailBar can be configured to automatically check for updates and launch at startup.

It is also worth mentioning that you are required to use Apple’s Mail application as an email client and have at least one active inbox in order for MailBar to properly function and display notifications nest to the status bar icon.
