Select Search offers you quick search features on the selected text,  in the same manner as the FastestChrome extension does.

There are also some differences between Select Search and ChromeFox :
· Positioning rule is different and it makes the balloon always accessible
· There are more settings available (transparency, order of the icons, time settings, length of the balloon, opening in background, front, target page).
· Balloon is also active on text fields and disappear as soon as a key is pressed.
· Balloon disappears after a short period without being hovered.

Select Search is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.

NOTE: To install the Select Search extension, drag and drop the downloaded .crx file onto the Chrome Extensions window.
