Janetter Pro is a full-featured and cross-platform Twitter client that comes with a wealth of features and customization options.

You can add up to 7 different Twitter accounts (in the paid version), get realtime updates, view timelines in multiple columns and access all Twitter options you are familiar with.

Another benefit of using Janetter Pro, besides accessing Twitter from your desktop, is that you can personalize the appearance. A total of 27 different themes can be applied to the default user interface. Moreover, the app can be experienced in full-screen mode, if running it under OS X 10.7 and up.

Speaking of the interface, Janetter Pro sports an elegant and well-organized window with a toolbar for the “Home”, ”Connect”, “Discover” and “Me” categories. On the lower part of the main window, you can access your account details, your tweets or search for tweets.

Janetter Pro also features an “Advanced Search” feature that helps you search using two words: the first by keywords, user name and the seconds by tweet, user or application.

What’s more, any language is supported. Other functions include the ability to jump to latest tweet or first unread, send private messages and mark all tweets as read.

The list of features continues with notifications for new tweets and when new events occur. The tweets with photos display image thumbnails, so you can get a clear preview without visiting the web-based version of Twitter.

Janetter Pro offers many other possibilities that you can read about on the app’s homepage. The application gathers probably too many features for casual users and the interface might get a little tricky to work with.
