To make sure you never miss an episode of your favorite podcasts, subscribing to their feed is highly recommended. Instacast is a simple Mac app that can help you keep track of all your subscriptions in a clean and well organized user interface.

Like with many other Mac apps, the Instacast installation process is reduced to dragging and dropping the utility on top of the Applications directory. Upon launching the utility, you must start by subscribing to some podcasts (the app comes with its own collection), or by importing your subscriptions from an OPML file.

You can easily connect to your Instacast Cloud account, which enables you to effortlessly synchronize your episodes library to all your devices. This way, any database management task must be performed only once.

Within the Instacast main window, you can view a list with all your subscriptions, all the available episodes for each feed, and general information about each entry. For you convenience, Instacast includes smart folders that enable you to quickly identify the episodes that have not been played, the ones that have been downloaded, or your favorite entries.
