Pocket is a useful and user-friendly application that allows you to manage and organize multiple webpages, articles, video clips and images in a separate list from where you can access them at a more convenient time. What is more, Pocket is capable to automatically synchronize your list across your mobile devices and computers.
Thanks to Pocket’s support for numerous mobile phones, tablets, browsers and operating systems, you can always keep track of your “Read-it-later” list. From Pocket’s “View From Any Device” section you can view a list with all supported devices and easily install it on a web browser of your choice as well as your iOS, Android, Kindle or Blackberry device.
The browser integration allows you to save pages to your reading list without using your Mac’s clipboard. On top of that, the offline reading mode helps you read your saved items even when you do not have an Internet connection. Pocket is also integrated in over 300 desktop and mobile applications.
From Pocket’s main window you can view the list with all your items and filter the displayed entries according to their category. The built-in search feature helps you find a specific webpage while the tags feature helps you organize your items even easier.
From Pocket’s top toolbar you can mark the currently viewed page as favorite, archive it or remove it from your list. You can choose between two viewing modes and change the text settings. In addition you can add custom tags and share your article, page or video via Email, Twitter, Facebook or Buffer. You can also open the webpage in a browser and copy its link.
