IMAP Received Date is a Thunderbird and SeaMonkey add-on that makes the “Received” column in IMAP folders show when messages were actually received.
The Date column in the Thunderbird and SeaMonkey thread pane shows the date from the header of the email message, which is not necessarily an accurate indication of when you received it.
The “Received” column is supposed to show when the message arrived in your mailbox, but it does not work properly for IMAP folders. This add-on fixes this.
IMAP Received Date is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
