Horcrux For Mac

Horcrux is a simple to use and streamlined macOS utility that automatically backs up mail messages from any IMAP enabled e-mail service (i.e. iCloud, Gmail, Google Apps, Microsoft Exchange, as well as most other e-mail accounts from IMAP-enabled servers).

The Horcrux app will also enable you to restore the backed up messages to any other e-mail account, while also preserving their folder hierarchy and tags.

In order for Horcrux to incrementally backup your e-mails properly in the background to multiple locations (local and remote) without your intervention, you only need to add the mail accounts and set the backup frequency.

The Horcrux app also comes with support for migrating your backed up e-mails between IMAP servers, as well as for restoring them quickly by automatically skipping the mails which already exist on the target server.

It is also important to mention that Horcrux will backup your e-mails using the open EML format, compatible with Apple's Mail application, but it can also export them to MBOX if you prefer.
