FlashGot is a free and open-source browser extension that makes it easy and effortless to send downloadable links from any website to your favorite external download manager.

Support for the most popular multi-platform downloaders

The currently supported download managers for Mac OS X are: Progressive Downloader, Speed Download, Folx, iGetter, JDownloader, Leech and wxDownload Fast (source code only).

With FlashGot, you can quickly download audio files, videos, photos and all sorts of files if you've got a desktop download manager. FlashGot lets you send multiple links and download them all at once.

Download multiple videos with a mouse click

In addition, FlashGot can also batch download YouTube videos as well. When visiting the popular video sharing site, simply click on the toolbar button to begin the download.

Furthermore, FlashGot provides context menu options to select the options and your favorite download manager. The FlashGot Link option downloads the link under the mouse cursor and FlashGot Selection grabs the links in highlighted parts of the webpage.

FlashGot All downloads all the links on the webpage you are visiting, and the FlashGot Tabs option does the same thing, but on all your opened tabs. Moreover, the FlashGot Media option detects the downloadable media on the page.

Easily customizable behavior and look

The FlashGot extension also comes with numerous settings within the Preferences window. You can select the default download manager, choose which items to display in the context menu or filter the file formats to be downloaded.

Additionally, the extension also provides the Build Gallery feature designed to aggregate all media files on a webpage and offers various advanced filters.

As an added advantage, the FlashGot browser add-on is a cross-platform solution that can be used on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux computers.

Powerful and intuitive download manager for Firefox

All in all, if you need a simple to use and highly reliable download manager integration extension for Firefox, with support for virtually all important downloaders on the market, FlashGot is the best option you have.
