WebAnnotator is an easy to use Firefox add-on which provides an annotation tool for web pages.
Given a user-defined schema (types, subtypes, free text), any element of any kind of web pages can be annotated through this schema.
The annotation is represented by text highlighting and by a summary panel at the bottom of the browser.
The schema is easily defined and described as a DTD. User colors can be specified.
WebAnnotator is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
