Selected Search is a handy Firefox add-on which will show a popup with the list of installed search engines when you highlight any text string on a webpage.
In other words, Selected Search opens a popup with your search engines listed as soon as you release the mouse button and there is any selected/marked text.
Clicking on one of the search engines will perform a search in the current or a new tab, depending on your settings.
You can select the search engines to be shown in the add-on options.
