Red1 is a Fireefox add-on that will allow you to download Facebook inbox.
The downloaded messages are stored in text files on your computer for archiving, searching, printing or anything else. Each message thread is saved in a separate file.
After you install Red1, a button will appear in your browser's toolbar. Clickingin will prompt you to log in to Facebook. The download will begin automatically to a folder on your desktop.
In addition, a button in the bottom right corner of your browser window will display the downlaod progress.
Red1 is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
