BOINC Stats 2 is a Firefox add-on that shows a user's total and recent average credit in the status bar for BOINC distributed computing projects in which they are actively participating.
BOINC is a distributed computing platform created by the University of California, Berkeley.
BOINC Stats 2 enables you to "Use the idle time on your computer (Windows, Mac, or Linux) to cure diseases, study global warming, discover pulsars, and do many other types of scientific research" as part of projects such as the famous SETI@Home.
BOINC Stats 2 is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
