FabTabs is a Firefox add-on that will take a small screenshot of the website you are currently browsing, and calculate the most commonly used color from that screenshot.
FabTabs will then try to take the 1 essential color from the website and apply it to the tab.
The FabTabs add-on is cross-platform and it works on Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
